A great vintage radio control vehicle: Tether Model Racing Cars. Tether Model Racing Cars are 8-22 inches long, 3-4 inches wide, and are powered by gas. They are made from wood and metal (later all metal and some with fiberglass), fitted with real rubber tires and metal rims. These cars can go up to 100 MPH, sometimes more than that. They were first made in the 1920's. These vintage radio control race cars are not so common, some models are very rare. They can be found on eBay (or right here) by searching for "Cox Racing Car" or simply "Cox".
